The Kenai Peninsula offers some of Alaska's Premier Hiking and Canoeing Trails. The Kenai Canoeing Trail is one of only two wilderness canoe systems in the USA. The other is the BoundaryWaters in Northern Minnesota. The trail is located in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge containing 1.3 million acres. It is divided into two systems: Swan Lake and Swanson River. The Swan Lake System contains 30 lakes with 60 miles of trail, and the Swanson River System contains 40 lakes with 46 miles of trail for your paddling enjoyment.

The Lodge is just a few short miles from the entrance to both systems. We offer guided tours of three or five day trips, where you can view a variety of wildlife. This includes the majestic Bald Eagle, many other species of birds, moose, brown and black bear, mink, otter just to name a few. You can camp along the trail and enjoy the wilderness undisturbed by man, where you are the visitor. Fish for Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden or other fish native to our pristine waters. You will have fun trying to identify the vegetation or solve some of the mysteries of the trails.

Let your imagination run wild as you explore Alaska's beauty the way the early explorers did. See Alaska the way it was meant to be seen. All this is affordable and at your finger tips, just a phone call away.
